Welcome to onlineteened.com, home of the California DMV Approved Online Teen Driver Education Course. This website is owned and operated by Online Teen Ed, which provides DMV-approved driver education and related services in accordance with applicable state licenses, approvals, and certifications. In these Terms and Conditions, the words "we," "us," and "our" mean Online Teen Ed.
By visiting the Site or enrolling in a course, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions and any applicable disclaimers.
Acceptance of Terms
Accessing or using our website, course platform, or support channels constitutes your acceptance of this agreement. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Site and Services.
Information Accuracy and Disclaimer
We work to keep course materials, DMV guidance, and site content current and accurate. However, information may become outdated or contain errors. Online Teen Ed, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and vendors do not warrant the completeness, accuracy, or timeliness of any content and are not responsible for losses arising from reliance on such information.
The Site is not directed to children under 13. Users under 13 may not register, enroll, or submit personal information.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Online Teen Ed and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and vendors shall not be liable to you under any legal theory—including contract, tort, or indemnity—for your use of the Site or Services.
If liability is found despite the above, our total responsibility for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific course or service giving rise to the claim. We shall not be liable for any additional damages beyond that fee.
Enrolling in or completing a course confirms that you understand these limits. You agree that Online Teen Ed is not responsible for damages or inconvenience alleged to result from use of our products or services, except as expressly required by applicable law.
Course Requirements and Completion
California teen driver education courses must include elements mandated by the regulating agency. These may include enrollment deadlines, timed modules, quizzes, final exams, identity verification, and other compliance steps.
Students who cannot satisfy a required element—such as failing an assessment within allowed attempts or not passing identity validation—may be removed from the active course and must re-enroll to finish training, subject to course guidelines and applicable fees.
Anti-Discrimination Policy
Fair Access for Students and Customers
Online Teen Ed does not discriminate against anyone seeking to purchase or use our courses. We take reasonable steps to ensure learners are treated fairly regardless of race, color, ancestry, national origin, citizenship, gender, gender identity, sex, sexual orientation, pregnancy, marital status, creed, religion, age, mental condition, physical disability, genetic information, veteran status, or military service.
Harassment and discriminatory conduct are prohibited. Course content will not include explicit references that demean individuals based on gender, ethnicity, religion, age, disability, socioeconomic status, or sexual orientation.
If you believe you experienced discrimination while using our Services, report it to our Customer Care team via our Contact Us page, by phone at 510-591-0000, or by email at Info@onlineteened.com.
Equal Employment Opportunity
Online Teen Ed offers equal employment opportunities to employees and job applicants without regard to race, color, ancestry, national origin, citizenship, gender, gender identity, sex, sexual orientation, pregnancy, marital status, creed, religion, age, mental condition, physical disability, genetic information, veteran status, or military service.
This commitment covers all employment terms—including hiring, placement, promotion, termination, layoff, recall, transfer, leave, compensation, and training. Harassment, discrimination, and interference with coworkers' ability to perform their jobs are not tolerated.
Employees with questions about workplace equal opportunity should contact Human Resources. We prohibit retaliation against anyone who, in good faith, reports a concern or participates in an investigation. Retaliation includes termination, demotion, pay reduction, isolation, threats, intimidation, or withholding benefits because someone reported or opposed harassment, discrimination, or retaliation.
Discrimination complaints should follow our internal Harassment and Complaint Procedure. Violations may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination.
ADA Compliance and Reasonable Accommodations
Consistent with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), we provide reasonable accommodations to qualified employees with known disabilities when such adjustments do not impose undue hardship. A reasonable accommodation is a change to job duties or the work environment that allows an employee to perform essential functions. Employees who need an accommodation should contact Human Resources so we can evaluate appropriate options.
We also offer reasonable accommodations to help learners with disabilities access and complete required training, provided the accommodation does not change mandatory program standards and does not guarantee course passage.
Our courses are designed with universal design principles to support comprehension and access for diverse learners. For accessibility questions or accommodation requests, contact Customer Care through our Contact Us page or the details below.
