Is this California driver ed course right for me?
If you are between the ages of 15 ½ and 17 ½ and would like get a permit in the state of California, you must complete California driver education. You can begin our course at the age of 15 ½. This course fully satisfies California driver ed requirements and is accepted by the California DMV.
Is this online driver ed approved by the California DMV?
Yes, this course has been approved and accepted by the California DMV.
How long is this course?
The state requires the driver ed course to last a minimum of 30 hours. This includes 25 hours of learning and 5 hours of required breaks throughout the course.
How long do I have to complete the course?
You have 1 year after registration to complete the course.

Is the driver ed course completely online?
Yes. The driver education course is 100% online. This allows you to complete your requirement before you go to the DMV to apply for your license.
What do I need to do after completing the course?
We will mail you a certificate at the end of the course to take to the DMV. You will also need to take certain California DMV Required Forms to verify your identity.
When will I get my driver ed certificate?
Your certificate is processed the day you graduate. Please allow 5 to 7 business days to receive it via U.S. first class mail. There is no extra charge.
Do I have to take a written test at the DMV?
Yes, all applicants will need to pass a 46-question written exam at the DMV after completing the driver education course.
How many questions are on the permit test in CA?
